What we collect, and what we do with it.
Written to be read. Every recipient is named, because a notice that says we share data with trusted partners tells you nothing you could act on.
Who we are
Flux Consultancy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16801971, runs this site. Our registered office is 2 Denmead Road, Croydon, CR0 3TA, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for everything described here.
For anything in this notice, including a request to see or delete your data, email hello@flux-consultancy.com.
What we collect
What you type into the application form. Your first and last name, email address, phone number, the services you picked, a partner’s email address if you add one, and whether you ticked the marketing text box.
Where you came from. If you arrived from an advert, the link carried campaign tags in it. We store those alongside your application so we know which advert brought you, rather than guessing.
How the site was used. Pages viewed, how far through the video you watched, which buttons were pressed, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. This is collected only if you allow additional cookies.
We do not ask for anything sensitive, and we do not put your name, email address or phone number into analytics.
Why, and on what basis
We use your application to contact you about working together. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us to get in touch, and replying is what you expected when you pressed the button.
We use analytics and advertising measurement to understand which adverts are worth running. The lawful basis there is your consent, which is why none of it runs until you answer the cookie banner, and why you can change that answer at any time on the cookies page.
Text messages
When you give us your number on our form or booking page, we use it to call or text you about your application and booking. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you gave it so we could. We only send marketing texts if you ticked the marketing box, and the lawful basis for those is your consent. We keep a record of what you agreed to, when, and from which page.
Messages are sent through GoHighLevel’s LeadConnector phone system and the mobile carriers that deliver them. They handle your number only to deliver our messages.
We do not sell or rent your mobile number. Text message opt-in data and consent are excluded from every kind of sharing described in this notice and are never shared with any third party or affiliate.
Reply STOP to any message to withdraw consent, or email hello@flux-consultancy.com. The full text message terms are in our terms.
Who else sees it
Your application goes into our CRM, GoHighLevel, where our team works it. Nobody outside Flux reads it.
If you allowed additional cookies, measurement data is shared with Google (Analytics and Tag Manager), Meta, Reddit, Snap and OpenAI. They receive events such as “someone viewed this page” or “someone submitted the form”, not what you typed into it. Each sets its own cookies, named individually on the cookies page.
The site itself is hosted by Vercel, which keeps short-lived server logs as part of running it.
The application form is protected from bots by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser and device, including your IP address, when you submit it. Cloudflare handles that data under its Turnstile privacy policy.
We do not sell your data to anyone.
Where it goes, and for how long
Several of the companies above are based in the United States, so your data is transferred there. Those transfers rely on the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses, depending on the provider.
We keep applications for three years from our last contact with you, so we can pick up a conversation that went quiet. After that they are deleted. Records of text message consent and opt-outs are kept for as long as we hold your number and for four years after, so we can prove consent and never text you after you said stop. Analytics data expires on the schedule set by each provider, which for Google Analytics is fourteen months.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, ask for it in a portable format, and object to us processing it on the basis of legitimate interests.
Email hello@flux-consultancy.com and we will answer within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not happy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first, but it is your right either way.
Changes
When this notice changes we update the date below. If the change affects what we do with data we already hold, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
